My National Health Care Plan For America!

Universal Health Care Sanctioned by The Feds & Subsidized by the States And Employers Alike:

* We need a National Health Care Plan which will guarantee coverage by the Feds, The States,, and the Private sectors/employers.

* Each entity MUST provide a percentage of coverage for every employed American, with certain stipulations that the Feds must make, regarding the percentage amount that the Feds the State, & The Private Sector/Employers, and the Employed person will pay, from the first pay wage or income that he or she earns.

* The percentage contributed by the employee must be based upon his or her gross wages or salary.

* And the percentage amount that the States and Feds will contribute must also be statutorily regulated.

* With this trilateral coverage or guarantee in place, all working people will be able to access medical care nationally.

* Also provisions must be legislated for coverage of every illness, hospitalization if necessary for any ailment (if required), prescription drugs coverage for all medicines, and (limited co-pay arrangements) for certain categories that earn incomes below a certain ceiling.

Less We Forget!

Preface:
An individual can only comprehend where he or she is, if he/she knows where he/she has been. And therefore, should be able to charter a course or destination. As Black Americans or (People Of Color), today is a time for reflection on our historical experiences in this land we call home. And the role or roles we intend to forge for ourselves as a people in the future!

The Struggles:

The first Black American to graduate from West Point military academy was Lt. Benjamin Davis in 1878. As the first Black Cadet Officer on campus, none of his fellow (White) Cadets spoke to him for the entire four years at the academy. Not even his instructors, unless it was official instructions. He eventually graduated, and subsequently became the Commander of the academy, as Lt. Col. Benjamin Davis.

Sojourner Truth:

She was allegedly born in 1797, and died in 1883. An abolitionist, freedom fighter, a member of the underground railroad, that worked secretly to help slaves get away across the Mississippi river, into Canada, to freedom. She was caught several times by White bounty hunters, raped several times, but was never deterred from her strong will and belief in Freedom!

Mary McLeod Bethune 1875-1955:

Started the first Negro women's college from a SHACK, with cardboard boxes used as tables and benches, with seven girls. Poor, jobless, no immediate prospects, no money, and no formal education in such matters. She sold cakes and other goodies on the roadside, took in washing and scrubbing, and anything it took to get her dream started for her people. With a little luck, and providence, she was discovered and helped to realize those dreams eventually. Today from $1.50 and faith, the Mary Bethune-Cookman college celebrates this legacy of courage and hope.

Cassias Clay alias Malcolm X:

Born Cassias Clay, became a Moslem, and changed his name to Mohammed Ally. He was notorious for his outspoken views against the Draft. He felt that African Americans had no right fighting and killing Viet Cong fighters in Vietnam. To further America's interests, when they could not sit in any seat on a public bus, or train. Eat at any table in any restaurant, or stay in most hotels in this country, even if they could afford to do so. For these reasons and many more, he resented the war in Vietnam, and the draft.

As you may know, several other pioneers followed. Martin Luther King jr, Malcolm Little alias Malcolm-X, Angela Davis, Stokeley Carmichael, Rap Brown, and the list goes on. Albeit, today many of our brothers and sisters in the entertainment industry, the sports industry, Film, TV and theater industry, got their cue from those pioneers. And should always acknowledge them. Because they are themselves today's pioneers for those who will succeed them in the future.

We have come a long way, the goals are still to be achieved, and is attainable. With resolve and fortitude, we must forge ahead and never loose focus.

Whatever the Human Mind Can Conceive-Could Be Achieved!

The US Media Conglomerate Is The Major Source For Preventing National Reconciliation!

The US media conglomerate is the single most Divisive, Manipulative, Partisan, Obstructive and Coercive instrument. That PREVENTS meaningful, objective, progressive Ethnic, Gender, Sexual Identity/Preferences, and Religious Freedom, from ever having the probity and rectitudinal discussions that it deserves.

This medium has been in the forefront for decades now, owned, controlled, and operated by a predominant White male elite, who feel that they have the right to mold the national agenda, thoughts, and attitudes on all of the above issues. This they do without any pretense whatever.

They even interpret political opinions, pronouncements and statements given by political representatives, to suit their own partisan and bias views, make presumptions whenever it serves their agenda. And is responsible for the promotion of ethnic, political division, religious self-righteousness, and cultural egocentrism.

Yes, the US national media have used the television most EFFECTIVELY to influence national politics, national prejudices, by coercive methods. And is largely responsible for the feeling among millions of Americans to shy away from any discourse, that is aimed at objective discussion and reconciliation of our historical ethnic and social prejudices.

Is there any end in sight to the usurpation of the Public via this medium?

I cannot see this happening anytime soon, so long as our information mediums are owned, controlled, and determined by a few White men, who believe they know what the American people need to HEAR, SEE, FEEL and BELIEVE.

The Things That Bother Me!

Senator John Mac Cain's Marshall Plan For Michigan!

WORD-UP:

John Mc Cain tells Michigans that the USA's 'Marshall Plan' package in 1945, that saved Europe after the war, could work here now, to create employment.
What a comparison!

The world in 1945 was totally different technologically, globally, and economically. India, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, and China, were not industrialized enough to effect global trade and economics like they do today. And almost rivaling the USA in this regard.

Millions of jobs, and assembling processes are now being exported to these countries, making it very difficult for the working classes, especially the Blue Collar workers to bargain for decent wages/salaries, regular employment with benefits, and permanency.

So I still cannot see how any New Deal will help or create jobs by the Feds in 2008 and after. Unless they adopt a massive program like President Roosevelt did, by implementing a national and extensive highway construction program after the depression.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney has no concrete plan on how he is going to bring back jobs to the state of Michigan!

Every time I listen or watch local television, and the way they trivialize the political issues that these presidential candidates are trying to get across to their constituents. And by using facial, ethnic features and identity, to determine who looks like a President and who don't.

I cringe at the sorry state of affairs of public television in the USA currently.
What bothers me the most though, is that both front line democrats are being portrayed as using divisive tools to influence the minds of voters generally. And the media is leading in that crusade to make them the butt of jokes, mockery, cajolery, and satire!

The computer and Internet was created by youngsters, who had NO EXPERIENCE in that area. But was resolute in pursuing that technology, which eventually revolutionalized Global Communication, and Global Economics.
Today, one cannot imagine a world without computers!

This is experience Accumulated "ON THE JOB."

Therefore, allowing Dinosaurs to determine the future course, leadership, and direction of this nation (USA), would be a very detrimental decision by the American electorate.

And finally, not having democratic represenatation and caucusing in Michigan, does not say much for those eligible and devoted democrats who live there. Nor does it auger well for the democratic candidates at the general elections in November-2008.

None of these presidential candidates have convincingly addressed the following:

* The Don't Ask-Don't Tell' Legislation:

* Lesbian & Gay-Same Sex Unions or Marriages.

* A woman's right to chose or Pro choice!

* A comprehensive Immigration Bill that would acommodate those who came into the US Legally, but became Illegal after overstaying their time here:

* And those who seek Amnesty, without VALID or SUBSTANTIVE proof for same:

* Medicare & Medicaid coverage for all levels of workers. Especially those who make less than 25,000 dollars annually:

* Securing our Mexican Border with the necessary technology that would ensure safety from illegal entry. And combatting DRUG TRAFFICKING from that border more effectively:

* And finally, none of these candidates made any mention of stopping the current procedure of removal/dismissal of any discovered or OUT Gay-Lesbian

Or Homosexual male or female in the armed forces.

* PAPER BALLOTS voting is much more verifiable and aids voter legality. In the event of any discrepancy, they could be re-counted!

These are still very urgent issues and concerns that needs to be addressed.

Who Is Best Qualified To Be President?

Some people keep saying that Sen. Barack Obama have only served two years in Washington DC as a Senator. And that is not enough experience for someone who will be Commander In Chief, of The US Armed Services, and President of The United States.

George W. Bush was a governor of Texas, and is now completing his eight years in the White House. Yet with all of his experience, looking back on his decisions of ignoring Congress, ignoring the constitutional prescription for checks and balances, and arbitrarily infringing on the privacy of Americans, via e-mail and telephone surveillance .

And invading Iraq under a false pretext for war!
Why would Senator Barack Obama not be qualified for this position?

Emotion & Fear May Determine Who Wins The Presidency In 2008:

Preface:
I have been following the prelude leading to the decision by those who chose to vote for George W. Bush, even after realizing that the reason/s for declaring war on Iraq was FALSE. Yet most Americans who voted to reinstate him, voted from a position of FEAR. Today, this same emotional position seem to influence

Americans once again in these primaries.
Senator Barack Obama is perceived by the media as riding a wave or momentum, unheard of in the history of politicking in this country. With his philosophical rhetoric, he is able to move thousands, in all age groups, ethnic groups, and across political affiliations or parties.

Even the independents seem to be caught up in this surge of HOPE for CHANGE. Assuming that this is the reason why so many felt affinity with his ideals, literally cried at his public speeches, and felt within themselves something that they have not experienced with other political candidates currently.

This was felt generally in IOWA, and was transcended to New Hampshire, especially among the young or new voters, and independents generally. When Hillary Clinton had that public display of emotion on television, followed by her husband Bill Clinton's speech and ridicule of Senator Obama's questionable experiences, in relation to Hillary's. The table took a dramatic turn for Senator Obama, in terms of how these same voters, ( females mostly) saw him in terms of his rhetoric and ideals.

Somehow, Hillary's emotional outburst was able to cause an emotional deference for reason. Thus causing most of the younger and traditional older female voters, to identify with Hillary's weakness as a fellow woman, mother, and the only female candidate. Hillary's so-called human weakness, outburst, and pathos, in its entirety, was a major determinant in the shift from Barack Obama's camp to hers. And for this, she emerged as the new front runner in New Hampshire.

Let us follow this observation very closely in the up-coming primaries, just to see if this observation holds water for the future outcomes there.

AMNESTY Defined & Explained:

What Is AMNESTY?

Dictionary Definition:

A period during which offenders are exempt from punishment:

A warrant granting release from punishment for an offence:

The formal act of liberating someone:

Grant a pardon to (a group of people):

According to Rudolph Juliani. When a fine or some other punishment is meted out against some person/persons for illegal entry into another country, that is not amnesty!

Therefore, I believe if anyone is allowed to enter and remain, or take up residence in any country (other than the one he or she wants to be rescued from). And could supply written, oral, or implied PROOF or EVIDENCE to the courts of the asylum country, requesting amnesty.

And the Court allows that or those persons to enter and remain permanently in that country.

That would be LEGAL Amnesty.

Senator Hillary Clinton is claiming that the media has been too rough with her. In that they were delving into her past performances, with the vigor of a tiger, and has been very soft with Senator Barack Obama.

At least Senator Barack Obama did admit that he smoked and INHALED in the past. Quite unlike her husband, who claimed to only PUFF, but did not inhale marijuana.

Oh give me a break. Taking the self Pity position now isn't she?
When you want to rumble with the boys, you must be prepared to be Roughed Up a bit!

My Predictions For The New Hampshire Primaries!

I feel, based on Senator Barack Obama's performance and victory in IOWA, that he will get the lead again in New Hampshire. Barack Obama may not get a landslide support, but I predict that his lead will be very significant come next Tuesday's caucuses.

I also feel that Hillary Clinton & John Edwards will get a photo finish there, or almost the same amount of votes.. And possibly Hillary Clinton may come in Second Place over John Edwards.

After all, Hillary has been the favorite in that state for a long time!
Even though she has been wounded, she is not handicapped just yet. She will come back with a venous attack on all fronts.

So Barack & John, cover below the waistline. Because that is the place that she will focus on to disable both of you right now!
