The Republican's Dilemma-As I See It:
The Republican party seems to be in a state of mental and psychological paranoia. Having lost the last election, in most or all of their strong holds and historic territories, have left them dazed, confused, and unable to truly comprehend this new reality.
Harking on to the same old and tired approaches or conservative ideas, and would not budge, even when time, circumstance, and current reality says that the old ways of thinking and playing politics, are no longer relevant.
If or when this new reality TRULY sinks into the minds of those Old Timers, they will continue to spout useless, and ridiculous ideas to the American commonweal, only to be more despised and laughed at all through this new administration.
